$4,000 Coat Stolen From SLP Store: Police Blotter

Dec. 14

Four cars were burglarized on the 400 block of Ford Road .

Dec. 15

Police responded to a noise complaint at midnight. The case has been referred to the city attorney for charging.

A serious property damage incident was reported to police around 4 p.m. Police are still investigating.

Dec. 16

Police pulled a driver over at the intersection of Minnetonka Avenue and Lake Street shortly before 1 a.m. for driving without lights. The car's passenger was arrested after routine checks revealed they had outstanding misdemeanor warrants from Scott and Anoka Counties.

Police pulled a car over at the intersection of Louisiana Avenue and Walker Street for making an illegal traffic maneuver shortly before 2 a.m. The driver was arrested after routine checks showed he had six outstanding misdemeanor warrants from Hennepin County.

A full-length men's coat worth almost $4,000 was stolen from Upscale Consignment at some point in the previous 24 hours.

Dec. 17

Police warned a panhandler to move on from the intersection of Excelsior Boulevard and Highway 100 due to complaints from residents.

Dec. 18

Burglars broke into an apartment on the 6900 block of Meadowbrook Boulevard and stole nearly $1,000 worth of electronics. The dwelling was so messy, though, police had a difficult time telling if any worthwhile evidence was left behind.

Dec. 20

A fender-bender was reported at the intersection of Excelsior Boulevard and Highway 100.
