All six of her children graduated from Benilde - St. Margaret's, "a community of people that Jeanne embraced with all her heart and energy."
Jeanne Lamb of Minnetonka
March 4, 1923 - Feb. 14, 2013
Jeanne never let anyone forget that she was a “Murphy”; throughout her life she reveled in the spirit of her Irish ancestry. She was gregarious and made friends easily. She loved to be silly, tell funny stories and make other people laugh. Jeanne was born on March 4, 1923 in Minneapolis, and grew up happily in and around Lake Harriet; she graduated from Holy Angels Academy in 1941. She was the daughter of Edward Murphy and Lillian Reeves Murphy Peterson, and the sister of Tyler Belt Murphy, of Walnut Creek, CA.
