Sick SLP Girl's Wish to Become a Ballerina Comes True

The wish was granted by UnitedHealthcare and Make-A-Wish.

St. Louis Park resident Charlotte saw her wish to become a ballerina come true—and at the age of 5.

Charlotte is living with Leukemia and was recently granted her wish by UnitedHealthcare and Make-A-Wish.

According to a press release, Charlotte travelled to San Diego with her parents and younger sister to meet dancers of the California Ballet Company. While the dancers rehearsed for the company's production of Swan Lake, Charlotte twirled across the stage with the dancers, and later attended a preview performance.

“We are very happy to play a role in making Charlotte’s wish come true,” said Matthew Peterson, chief administrative officer for UnitedHealthcare and president of UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation. “Make-A-Wish truly makes a positive impact in our communities and brings joy to so many children courageously facing life-threatening medical conditions.”
