Share Your Minnesota State Fair Experience on Patch

If you're going to the fair in August, consider blogging about it.

Buckets of cookies, fried candy bars, craft shows, live music, farm animals and everything on a stick. Get ready. The Great Minnesota Get Together is here, and if you’re planning on going, Patch wants to hear about it.

Are you entering your award winning jam into a contest? Will your company have a booth with free giveaways? Do you plan to go on a mission to find the best food truck? Is your son or daughter competing in a talent show? Consider starting a free Patch blog and sharing your experience with your neighbors.

Getting started is easy. All you have to do is join Patch and click the “Start Blogging” button at the bottom of the page. From there, name your blog, describe what you’ll be writing about, upload a photo or select an icon, and click “Create Blog.” The beauty of blogging for Patch is that you can post as much or as little as you want to. And if you’re not a writer, it’s not a concern. Patch bloggers are regular people, not trained journalists.
