Thank a teacher and fund a grant for your SLP Schools!

Gratitude Greetings from the St. Louis Park Public Schools Foundation

It's Gratitude Greeting time again! Once again, the St. Louis Park Public Schools Foundation is sponsoring Gratitude Greetings, an opportunity for parents to thank their children's teachers, coaches, principals, librarians, classroom aides--anyone who has helped their child during the current school year. For a small donation ($10 is the suggested minimum, but any amount is welcome), the Foundation will deliver a beautiful thank-you card, expressing gratitude to that staff member for his or her efforts on behalf of a child. The card's message can be individualized for that person on behalf of the child or family. It's easy! Go to the Foundation website, slppsf.org, and click on Gratitude Greetings. The messages, as many as one wishes to send, can be filled out on-line, or the parent-donor can download a form to mail in. The deadline for submitting greeting requests is May 31, in order that the messages can be delivered before the end of the school year. All monies received from the Gratitude Greeting program go directly to the SLPPSF's granting program, which expends about $40,000 annually in grants for the next school year. These grants, for reading, science and math, the arts, and transitional programs, are designed by classroom teachers to provide students with learning activites that might not otherwise be funded due to budget constraints. Since its inception, SLPPSF has granted over $300,000 to teacher-designed enhancement programs. Your donations support our kids!
