To me, collaboration is about care - building influence and trust through a common bond. It takes listening, valuing those around you, and honest effort put into building interpersonal relationships. St Louis Park is a community of relationships, one that requires close partnership, engaged listening, and active communication with local leaders.
Through transparent decision making, I plan to strengthen relationships by engaging my neighbors in decisions I make on the Council. I see a future in which each of us contribute to Vision St Louis Park in meaningful ways — inspired by the collaborative nature of our City. I will work hard to ensure engagement with you in Ward 3 is a model for involvement in Council decision making. In our diverse community, the best decisions are made together, for our community.
The past few weeks in this Blog and on my Facebook page you will find a couple of practical examples of just how we might accomplish this together. I am committed to using the resources available to me to communicate with you and demonstrate my care for our neighbors.
