SLP Non-Profit Looking for Help With Typhoon Haiyan Relief

Christine Anderson's project needs blankets, socks and other personal care items. She started a GoFundMe campaign and is asking for your support.

Minneapolis resident Christine Anderson is partnering with the St. Louis Park non-profit Hope for the City to collect blankets, t-shirts, socks, personal care items for victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

Anderson posted on GoFundMe:

The wake of Typhoon Haiyan has left widespread devastation and intensified the need for medical attention and services. I am happy to be joining the Philippine Minnesota Medical Association (PMMA) in a medical mission and we will be serving patients in Northern Samar February 1-8.

PMMA had already sent 2 huge containers of medical supplies and equipment. In Partnership with Hope for The City, two additional containers will be shipped shortly. These will provide food, clothing, hygiene products and blankets for the typhoon victims. Thank you for your support!
