Opportunity Partners Executive Networking and Business Luncheon

The advantages of hiring workers with disabilities will be shared with 400 area business leaders at “Celebrate Opportunity – An Executive Networking and Business Recognition Luncheon,” hosted by nonprofit organization Opportunity Partners.

Back by popular demand after 2011’s sold-out event, Randy Lewis, Walgreens’ Senior Vice President-Supply Chain Management, will be the keynote speaker. Walgreens promotes the inclusion of people with disabilities in the workforce, marketplace and supplier chain, and has a goal to fill 20 percent of its distribution center jobs with people who have disabilities. Lewis will share how the multi-million dollar company benefits in countless ways by seeing the “ability” in everyone.

Opportunity Partners will recognize several companies for advancing work opportunities for people with disabilities. Attendees will enjoy a trade show and networking sessions, followed by a luncheon and a presentation by Lewis. The event will be emceed by WCCO 4 News anchor Frank Vascellaro.
