We are introducing a new class on cheese making. We will show a variety of techniques including cutting the curd, using a cheese press and waxing hard cheese. We will also talk about the various types of cheese, how to choose the right milk for the project and how rennet and various cultures work along with temperature control and the aging process. All of these components have an affect on the final cheese product. There will be a variety of cheese samples for you to try and a few wine pairings (from Midwest Supplies wines) to wash it all down!
