A World of Good at Excelsior & Grand - Giving Back for the Holidays

Gourmet Oil & Vinegar and Max's at The Shops at Excelsior & Grand are hosting "A World of Good at Excelsior & Grand - Giving Back for the Holidays," a food-fashion-shopping event to benefit some very worthy causes.  Gourmet Oil & Vinegar will have special guest Sue Zelickson in-store from 1 to 3 p.m., sampling of her delicious Lacey Sue Z. cookies and other party foods and recipes and tips for easy holiday entertaining.  The store will donate a portion of the weekend's sales to Perspectives Family Center and Kids Cafe. 


Max's will host A-list jewelry designer Vicente Agor for a weekend-long trunk show and a Saturday afternoon wine-and-chocolate pairing and tasting with sommelier Leslee Miller from noon to 4 p.m. Max's will donate a portion of sales to the University of Minnesota Transplant Assistance Fund and LifeSource in honor of Vicente's 50th birthday and his 10th anniversary of having received a double transplant.
