It Will Be Very Cold This Week In St. Louis Park

Temperatures should range from -5 to 10 degrees until Friday. Wind chills are forecast to be between -28 to -3 degrees.

Updated 7:30 p.m. Jan. 21: Cold temperatures will continue throughout the week in St. Louis Park.

The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities/Chanhassen forecasts a Tuesday high temperature of 2 degrees. The wind chills, however, will make it feel like -18 to -28 degrees.

The highest temperature this week in Eden Prairie will be 10 degrees, on Wednesday and Thursday. The low temperatures throughout the week will range from -5 to 3 degrees.

There is a chance of snow Thursday

If you think it was cold Monday, you should've been here in 1888. Weather Underground says the low temperature on Jan. 21, 1888, was -41.

Updated 2 p.m. Jan. 20: The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities/Chanhassen has issued a wind chill warning for Hennepin County, including St. Louis Park.

The wind chill warning is active from midnight Sunday to noon Monday. A wind chill advisory begins at noon Monday and continues until 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The National Weather Service (NWS) in the Twin Cities/Chanhassen has issued a wind advisory for Hennepin County, including St. Louis Park.

According to the NWS, "A wind advisory means that sustained winds of 30 to 39 mph or gusts between 45 and 57 mph are expected."

The wind advisory begins at noon Saturday and ends at 9 p.m.
