WATCH: St. Louis Park Family Rescues Ducklings
A storm had washed a mother duck's ducklings into the storm grate.
Like so many St. Louis Park residents, Sue Hamilton lost power in Friday's storm. But she wasn't so caught up in the inconvenience that she failed to notice a distraught mother duck on Park Place Boulevard on Saturday.
She, her son Justin and her friend pulled over to find out what was happening - only to find that the storm had washed the mother duck's ducklings into the storm grate. Despite the traffic, the group set to work rescuing the ducklings.
