Remember a Veteran Who Made a Difference in Your Life

Many people know someone who has died while serving this country—whether it’s a friend, a brother or sister, a parent or grandparent, or a husband or wife.

While these fallen soldiers should be celebrated, thanked and remembered throughout the year, Memorial Day is an especially good time to pay respects. St. Louis Park Patch wants to help you do that: From now through Monday, we’re asking readers to submit reflections and/or photos of veterans that played a key role in their lives.

Also, if you’re in town this holiday weekend, St. Louis Park is holding a Memorial Day service on Monday at the Veterans Memorial Amphitheater in Wolfe Park. The event is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. For more, see the city’s website.
