St. Louis Park Parking Restrictions Lifted

The city had been asking people to only park on the odd side of the street.

Even with snow in tonight's forecast, another sign of spring just appeared: the city of St. Louis Park lifted a voluntary, odd-side-only parking restriction on Tuesday.

The city had been asking residents to park on the odd side of streets since early February in an effort to de-congest roads clogged by snow. The initiative never became mandatory this year, though St. Louis Park has enforced similar parking restrictions with tickets in years past.

There is still an automatic parking ban on both sides of St. Louis Park streets anytime snowfall reaches three inches. For more, visit the city's website.
