St. Louis Park Offers Recycling of Lights
After you take down your Christmas trees or holiday lights, you can bring them to the Rec Center.
Right now you're probably more concerned about decking the halls than tearing down lights.
When the holidays are done, however, you don't have to worry about adding more waste to local landfills. The St. Louis Park Rec Center accepts holiday lights year-round. There's no cost for this service. Just drop your light strings at the front desk.
Workers from PPL Industries and ATHC disassemble the lights, according to the city's website.
