Storms Possible Through End of Week

This week's humidity could unleash some nasty weather on the area.

The National Weather Service is reporting that thunderstorms could develop tonight in Hennepin County, as well as through the weekend.

Storms are most likely today, Wednesday night and Friday into Saturday night. Because of the heat and humidity that has lingered in the Twin Cities all week, these storms will all have the potential to produce large hail, damaging winds and heavy rain.

A previously issued severe thunderstorm watch for the county has been pulled back, though the NWS reports there is some uncertainty about the damage potential of the forecasted storms, so more watches and warnings could be issued.
