The National Weather Service has issued a "hazardous weather outlook."

May could be coming in with a bang, as severe storms are possible tonight in the Twin Cities.

The National Weather Service has issued a "hazardous weather outlook" for storms that are expected to develop late this afternoon. These storms could bring damaging winds and hail, as well as possibly isolated tornadoes.

The severe weather will be triggered by a warm front moving in, as temperatures are expected to be in the high-70s to low-80s, with high humidity as well.

Severe storms are most likely after 7 p.m. and then into the early morning hours. More thunderstorms are expected on Wednesday morning.
