(UPDATED) Milder Weather Ahead
Storms came through the Twin Cities Monday and Tuesday.
After storms blew through the Twin Cities area on Monday and Tuesday, milder weather should be on its way for the rest of the week.
The National Weather Service forecasts sunny skies and highs in the mid-80s through Friday afternoon. There is a slight chance of storms on Friday night, as well as on Saturday and Sunday, but at this point the weather doesn't look severe.
A severe thunderstorm watch issued for Hennepin County earlier Tuesday has, accordingly, expired.
