(PHOTOS) Seize 'Em Before They Freeze 'Em

The St. Louis Park Farmers Market ended Wednesday.

The Lor family of farmers generously gave away a few extra vegetables to their customers in the final days of the . The market officially closed for the season on Wednesday.

"We'll freeze some of the remaining produce, but we donate most of it to local charities," the brothers and sisters of the 25-year-old family business explained.

Loyal customer Courtnay Longhurst of St. Louis Park contemplated a large purchase of tomatoes.

"I have good intentions," she said. "Good intentions of canning them."

She wrestled for several minutes with her purchase decision, then finally canned the idea, saying, "To be honest, I don't even own canning equipment. And I've got a six-month old."
