More Hazardous Weather On The Way To St. Louis Park

The National Weather Service is predicting rain and snow on Friday night through Sunday night.

St. Louis Park will see some rain and snow this weekend. It will be sloppy, but nothing like last weekend.

The National Weather Service said the city will get rain Friday night and most of Saturday, with high temperatures in the mid-30s and low temperatures around 30 degrees.

Cities north and west of the Minneapolis/Twin Cities metro area will see freezing rain.

Some snow is possible Saturday night into midday Sunday in St. Louis Park. The high temperature is forecast to be 32 Sunday, with a low temperature of 17 degrees.

DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

AS PRECIPITATION MOVES INTO THE OUTLOOK AREA LATE TONIGHT...IT COULD FALL AS FREEZING RAIN OR DRIZZLE FOR A TIME...OVER A PART CENTRAL MINNESOTA INTO WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN. WHERE TEMPERATURES AT THE SURFACE REMAIN BELOW FREEZING...THIS WOULD BE FREEZING RAIN...WITH LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE. TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN OR WARM ABOVE FREEZING OVERNIGHT OVER THE AREA.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

PRECIPITATION WILL TRANSITION TO ALL SNOW LATER SATURDAY AFTERNOON INTO SATURDAY NIGHT. ONE TO THREE INCHES OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE FROM WEST CENTRAL ACROSS CENTRAL MINNESOTA.

MORE ACCUMULATING SNOW IS LOOKING POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO THURSDAY OF NEXT WEEK AS ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM PASSES TO THE SOUTH. TEMPERATURES WITH THIS SYSTEM LOOK TO BE COOLER...WITH ANY PRECIPITATION FALLING AS SNOW.
