Crashes Pile up on Wet, Slippery Roads

None of the accidents resulted in serious injuries, the State Patrol reports.

It was a tough go on Wednesday, as a combination of slush and snow made Minnesota roads more treacherous than they've been all winter.

Between 5 a.m. and 6 p.m., Minnesota State Patrol crash numbers included:

Statewide
• 183 Crashes (20 reported injuries, none serious or fatal)
• 312 vehicles off the road/vehicle spin-outs
• Six jackknifed semis
Metro
• 129 Crashes (11 reported injuries, none serious or fatal)
• 195 vehicles off the road/vehicle spin-outs
• Two jackknifed semis

On St. Louis Park roads, there were a reported five minor accidents since midnight Wednesday.
