Happy 125th Birthday, St. Louis Park

A celebration will be held on Sunday.

In a span of 125 years, St. Louis Park has gone from being a humble village of 350 people to a bustling suburb of more than 40,000.

On Sunday, Oct. 16, that history will be celebrated, as the St. Louis Park Historical Society hosts a birthday bash at the . The event will run from 1-4 p.m.

Before that celebration, St. Louis Park Patch will be recognizing the city’s history by presenting 125 things you might not have known about St. Louis Park. We’ll be running 25 of these per day starting on Wednesday.
