Earth Day Clean-ups, Live Music Highlight Weekend Fun

St. Louis Park Patch gives you some great events to check out while you're off the clock.

What better way to start a weekend then by lending a helping hand and cleaning up some local neighborhoods? That opportunity presents itself this weekend in Minneapolis. You can follow-up the good work with some great high school baseball action and a few live shows:

Earth Day Clean-ups Around Town

When: Saturday, starting at 8 a.m.

Where: – Veterans Ball Field

Why Go: Check out this year’s talent as the Minnetonka varsity team competes against the likes of Chanhassen, Coon Rapids and Saint Francis.

 

When: Saturday, 4-7 p.m.

Where:

Why Go: Fill your belly with deliciousness and help raise funds for the Hopkins Raspberry Festival Royalty Scholarship program.

Price: $8 Adults, $5 children (under 10), children under 4 are free

 

James Wesley Performs

When: Saturday, 9:30 p.m.

Where:

Why Go: Catch a good, old-fashioned country act at a fun venue.

Price: $5; Purchase tickets here

 

When: Sunday, 7 p.m.

Where:

Why Go: Share an evening of live music with other community members.

Price: Free
