UPDATED: Big Snowfall Likely in Twin Cities

St. Louis Park and the rest of the metro could be looking at five inches or more.

Update (12/4): The National Weather service reports that roughly five inches of snow has accumulated in Minneapolis, and the large metro snowfall was enough to trigger St. Louis Park's automatic snow emergency. Until streets are plowed to the curbs, you should get your car parked in a garage or somewhere else off the road.

Today, look for temperatures to drop and possibly a little bit more snow to fall. On Sunday and into next week, expect those temperatures to remain low, with highs in the mid-teens and frigid wind chills expected.

(12/3): Five to seven inches of white fluffy stuff is likely headed to the Twin Cities this afternoon and into Saturday morning, the National Weather Service reports.
