The bistro is certified kosher under the supervision of Rabbi Shimon Perez.

Steel Toe Taproom

The owner of Steel Toe Brewing says the taproom will be open in early February.

Since August when Steel Toe received the St. Louis Park City Council's blessing, owner Jason Schoneman has been working on the perfect taproom to compliment the brewery located at 4848 West 35th Street.

Schoneman plans on adding about 30-40 seats to his small brewery.

“Now (people) can sit down and spend some time, and we can really get to know our customers,” he said.

In late December, Steel Toe released Lunker, an English-style barleywine that was aged in Templeton Rye Whisky barrels.

New TwinWest Chamber President

The TwinWest Chamber of Commerce recently announced that it has selected Brad Meier to serve as its next president.

Former TwinWest Chamber of Commerce President Bruce Nustad stepped down in August after four years to become president of the Minnesota Retailers Association, the statewide trade group representing Minnesota’s retail industry.

The announcement came after a multi-stage selection process conducted by the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce.

The TwinWest Chamber of Commerce serves Plymouth, Golden Valley, Minnetonka, Hopkins, Medicine Lake, St. Louis Park, New Hope, Brooklyn Center and Brooklyn Park.
