Visions for Vacancies: The Old Four Firkins

The beer store moved across town last fall, so what should go in its place?

When moved last fall, the store got a in St. Louis Park.

But what to do with it's old building, near the corner of Minnetonka Boulevard and Texas Avenue? That's where you come in—share your vision for this vacancy by posting a comment below.

That whole complex really needs a shot in the arm. Perhaps a pub with sandwiches and local brews, and maybe rooftop seating. The more rooftop seating in SLP, the better!

Agree with the rooftop seating sentiment...more is better. I do think parking here needs to get much better before this can really be a viable location. Currently, the lot is really hard to get into and very crammed.

Lets get a good Coffee Shop in this area! We can do better than the "World Perks and Bizarre/Bazaar," big-time flops! Come on people! Do a coffee shop RIGHT this time. Harrumph!

TOTALLY agree, Terry!! Heidi hit the nail squarely on the head, as well. We NEED something to jazz up that whole Texa-Tonka area, both sides of the street. Aquila's around the corner, and lots of apartment complexes, so there's a lot of family-related traffic in the area. A family-friendly coffee/cafe-type establishment is desperately needed. along with a significant amount of clean-up.
