(POLL) Are Your Dreaming of a White Christmas?

The holiday is only 10 days away and the Twin Cities has no real snow cover to speak of.

The photo to the right might be the closest you'll get to seeing a pine tree covered in snow anytime soon.

"At this point, it looks like we might have a brown Christmas here, unless something changes," National Weather Service meteorologist Tony Zaleski told the Pioneer Press.

The last time the Twin Cities had a "brown Christmas," or less than one inch of snow cover, was in 2006. Historically, the metro area has a white Christmas 72 percent of the time, the Minnesota State Climatology Office reports.

The best shot at snow appears to be Friday, but little accumulation is expected.
