Mom-and-Pop Yogurt Shop Opens on West Lake Street

The owners of Park Yogurt have 22 years of experience running the Hopkins Dairy Queen.

The same month that Forever Yogurt opened in St. Louis Park's West End, a new mom-and-pop yogurt shop, Park Yogurt, has opened at 6416 West Lake Street.

Nancy Pettit and her husband, owners of the Hopkins Main Street Dairy Queen for 22 years, opened the $.45 per ounce yogurt shop because, as Pettit said, "we already knew how to work the machines."

The yogurt shop's fall and winter hours are from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
