Millers and Saints Approved to Distill Spirits in St. Louis Park

The owners of Steel Toe Brewery recently founded a new vodka and whiskey distillery.

Millers and Saints, the new St. Louis Park distillery founded by the owners of Steel Toe Brewery, has received all required licenses and approvals from city and state and is ready to get started on its first batches of vodka and whiskey, Steel Toe announced on its Facebook page Monday.

The distillery will be separated from Steel Toe's beer brewing equipment by a chain-link fence to comply with state liquor laws.

The Steel Toe founders, Ron Olney, Jason Schoneman and Joe Muggli, said they expect the vodka to be ready before the whiskey and both spirits to be on liquor store shelves by the end of February.
