Jersey Mike's Opens August 7 With Park Nicollet, Sabes JCC Fundraisers

The sub shop is opening at 1650 Park Place Boulevard.

Jersey Mike’s Subs, a grilled East Coast-style sandwich shop, will officially open its doors at 1650 Park Place Boulevard in St. Louis Park on August 7.

Franchise owners Michael McGuire, Joseph Moll, and Joe Nachtrab Gates are holding a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, Aug. 7,  to Sunday, Aug. 11, that will benefit the Park Nicollet Foundation and the Sabes Jewish Community Center.

“As a business owner, it has always been important to me to do something I am passionate about, McGuire said in a statement. “This grand opening in St. Louis Park has given us the opportunity to work with the Park Nicollet Foundation and the Sabes JCC to make a positive impact for local residents of the St. Louis Park community.”

Jersey Mike's will be handing out 12,000 coupons throughout the community, offering a free sub in return for a minimum $1 donation to Park Nicollet or the
JCC.

It's the first location for the franchisees. Store hours will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.

Here's what Jersey Mike's said about their sandwiches in a press release:

Passionate Jersey Mike's fans crave their subs made Mike's Way™ with onions, lettuce, tomatoes and a signature olive oil blend, vinegar and spices.  The company uses only private labeled meats and cheeses that are sliced fresh for each sub sandwich and piled high on in-store baked bread.  Everything is quickly made to order for each customer, just the way the first subs were made at the original Jersey Mike's more than fifty years ago.  The Jersey Mike’s experience always includes its trademark neighborly banter served up by a high-energy Jersey Mike’s team.
