Children's entertainment restaurant chain Chuck E. Cheese's has been bought by private equity firm Apollo Global Management for $1.3 billion, according to CNN Money on Thursday

Apollo, which was also a buyer of Hostess Brands last year, has announced it will pay $54 a share in cash for the company CEC Entertainment, according to the report.

Chuck E . Cheese developed, sadly, into a gang hangout. Look at the banshees fighting in youtube videos at Chuck E. Cheese. Sad that this business was ruined by the usual suspects.
