Edina Realty to Fill Vacant Fishman's Deli Building

The new real estate office is set to open in August.

Edina Realty will be opening a new office this summer in the building that housed Fishman's Deli for a decade before the community market closed in February.

An Edina Realty spokeswoman said the new office will open in August. The Star Tribune reports that two current Edina Realty locations—at 3270 W. Lake St. and 4800 Olson Memorial Highway—will be closing and consolidating into the new location. The 10,000 square-foot building will be adding on 2,400 square feet to make the transition possible.

Fishman's was a popular destination among members of the local Jewish community, as the deli sold a wide array of kosher foods and baked traditional Jewish breads. However, owner Stewart Fishman said rent and high overhead simply caught up with him.
