Details of Knollwood Mall Redevelopment Emerge
Smaller, Old Navy-style stores planned.
Hints of the Knollwood Mall's future are starting to emerge.
According to the Star Tribune, the mall's developers are planning do demolish much of the structure between TJ Maxx and Kohl's, replacing the smaller retail spaces with larger ones geared for mid-sized retailers like Old Navy.
The parking lot could see changes to improve traffic flow and to make the area more pedestrian-friendly.
The city Planning Commission could hear the proposal as early as Aug. 7.
