St. Louis Park Musician Prepares for Another CD Release
Dan Israel will perform a show Saturday for his latest album, 'Live On.'
St. Louis Park native Dan Israel has released a dozen albums in his 22-year career, so new music isn’t exactly rare.
Still, Israel tells City Pages he’s ready to take a break as the release date approaches for his newest album, Live On.
That album and an Anthology—titled Danthology—are set to be released Saturday at Icehouse in Minneapolis.
Israel started off his career playing in cover bands during high school in St. Louis Park, and he’s since become known for his moving lyrics.
