Jewish Humor Festival Starts Saturday at Sabes

The third annual event will run Jan. 14-28.

From stand-up comedy to one-person shows to laughter yoga—yes, you read that correctly—the 2012 Minneapolis Jewish Humor Festival should have something for just about everyone.

Starting Saturday with a performance by comedian Julie Goldman, the third annual event will be held at the from Jan. 14-28.

The two-week festival will feature a number of comedians and performing artists, as well as a laughter yoga workshop. The unique exercise routine is designed to trigger chemical reactions in the brain and strengthen core muscles through laughter.
