"We thought of this piece as a critical part of the story behind the record, where the narrator of the story, the hitchhiker who ran away from home into a new world with the fantasy of thinking he's about to find the big 'IT,' realizes he's lost everything instead," Minnesota's David Hollander says. "Now he finds himself thousands of miles away from what he knows - reduced to nothing but ash and chicken wire."
