Volunteers from FREE GEEK TWIN CITIES will be collecting used laptops, computer towers and flat panel monitors in the PARKING LOT at Byerly's Saint Louis Park for recycling (3777 Park Center Boulevard  St. Louis Park, MN 55416).

FREE GEEK’s goal is to minimize the amount of electronic waste going into landfills while providing a training program and access to low cost computers. Parts that can be reused are put into new computers by volunteers who can earn a computer after going through the FREE GEEK program. Parts that can’t be reused are recycled in an environmentally and socially responsible way. Hard drives will be either erased and overwritten using DBAN technology or physically destroyed.

Its a win-win. Get rid of your "junk" and your "junk" gets put to good use instead of going into a landfill. PCs and Macs accepted. No CRT's please. Cash contributions are also welcome (and appreciated).
