"Coya Come Home" Book Signing and Reception

Kathryn Leigh Scott, Minnesota native and star of TV classic "Dark Shadows" will co-host a reception and book signing to celebrate the publication of "Coya Come Home" for the Oslo Center of Peace and Human Rights.

Joining Scott will be Eric Schwartz, Dean, Humphrey School of Public Affairs, Ambassador Tom Loftus, Chairman of the Oslo Center US Foundation and Gretchen Urnes Beito, author of "Coya Come Home."

Coya has come home again in this intimate biography of Congresswoman Coya Knutson, the Minnesota farmwife who took Washington by storm, published to celebrate her 100th birthday August 21, 2012. Vice-President Walter F. Mondale has written the foreword to this true story of the "Coya Come Home" newspaper headlines that jolted the world. In this updated version, author Beito reveals for the first time the identity of the mastermind behind those infamous "Coya Come Home" letters.

All sales of the book will benefit Oslo Center's "Youth Leadership" fund, specifically in support of women entering the field of public policy.
