Artist Reception and Trunk Show at Max's

This weekend, Max's at The Shops at Excelsior & Grand is hosting a special artist reception with jewelry designer Vicente Agor on Friday, December 2 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m as well as a sample sale with Worth New York. A trunk show will also run through the weekend:

• Friday, December 2, 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
• Saturday, December 3, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. 
• Sunday, December 4, 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Twenty percent of the proceeds from sales of Vicente's work will be donated to LifeSource to support efforts to increase organ and tissue donation in our community, and to the University Transplant Assistance Fund at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview and the University of Minnesota Amplatz Children's Hospital to help defray costs incurred by transplant recipients.

In addition to Vicente Agor, Worth New York is hosting a Sample Set Sale of its fall and winter 2011 collections at Excelsior & Grand in partnership with Max's. Fifteen percent of the proceeds from the sample sale will be donated to LifeSource as well. The sample sale dates are as follows:

• Friday, December 2, 11:00 a.m.- 9:00 p.m.
• Saturday, December 3, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
