St. Louis Park Aquatic Park to Reopen June 24
The park closed for maintenance earlier this month.
The St. Louis Park Aquatic Park is scheduled to reopen for the summer season on Friday.
The park, which is adjacent to the , was shut down on June 10, just four days after it had opened for the year. Workers discovered that shifting soils had caused significant leaks to water lines serving the pool. The pool was drained, and it will now be refilled, heated and chemically treated before opening.
The park features a number of water slides and play areas, making it a great place for a family outing on a hot day. When the maintenance is finished, the park will be open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. For information on the aquatic park, including details on daily and seasonal passes, see the city's website.
