Start the New Year With a New Furry Friend

The Bergen County Animal Shelter, located in Teterboro, always has many animals who are looking for a great home.

The Bergen County Animal Shelter is located at 100 United Lane in Teterboro. Call the shelter at 201-229-4600 or visit them on the web

Hours for adoption are 1 to 5 p.m. seven days a week.  The shelter is open Thursdays from 1 to 7:30 p.m. 

Also the animal shelter will offer free rabbies shots for dogs on Thursday, Jan. 5 and Jan. 19 between 3:30 and 5 p.m. Dog owners must bring the current rabbies certificate to show the expiration date of the vaccine.
