Why Go: Whether you’re up for the ride or simply the sight, scope out the annual bike ride through the Lake Minnetonka communities. Distances vary from 17 to 100 miles.
Price: Free spectating; to ride: adults $45, youth $25

Why Go: Head over to the local dog spa to scope out all of the adoptable dogs currently in the care of Metropolitan Mutts, a pet rescue organization.

Where: The grassy knoll at Lake Harriet’s
Why Go: Head behind the turtle fountain for an hour of outdoor yoga to start your week out right.
Price: Free will donations
When: Sunday, Aug. 7, 7 p.m.
Where: St. Louis Park
Why Go: This vocal quintet of local Finns now living in the Twin Cities will perform a range of Finnish music, including hymns and folk. The performance will be followed by a reception with the group and a tour of the Finish and Jewish Gallery exhibit.
Price: $13 general admission, $10 students and Community and Premium members
