Five Fun Things to Do This Weekend

A neighborhood picnic and live music highlight a busy two days.

Another beautiful summer weekend is coming up, and we've got a great list of things to do with your time off:

When: Friday, July 29, 7:30 p.m.

Where: 

Why Go: Learn all about the life of Shakespeare from the very man himself.

Price: $14

 

When: Friday, July 29, 9:30 p.m.

Where:  St. Louis Park

Why Go: Kick off the weekend with live country rock music. Carters Chord will open for the national act, and Sterns County 17 will wrap up the night.

Price: $10 tickets will be available at the door

 

When: Saturday, July 30, 1-4 p.m.

Where:  Minnetonka

Why Go: See if your dog has what it takes for the September fall and winter fashion show, "Doggies on the Runway."

Price: Free

 

When: Sunday, July 31, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where:  Minneapolis

Why Go: Join the community in shopping for local produce, enjoying freshly prepared foods, and perhaps even a bout of live music. This week, swing by and Capstone Gallery (4325 Nicollet Ave.) to scope out the "Art Next Door."
