Can You Identify This Retro St. Louis Park Photo?

We test your local knowledge with an old-school pic.

It was a lot of fun last week, so let's do it again.

Above, we're featuring a retro photo, courtesy of the awesome Facebook group "Flashbacks of St. Louis Park"—and it's your job to identify where it was snapped. Post your guess in the comments below.

Since I've lived here only 5 yrs, I can almost never identify these, but I LOVE seeing and learning about them!

Glad to hear that, Heather! I've only been here about two years, so I too am learning a lot about SLP history. To me, PT has always been on Louisiana near Hwy 7, but of course to others this is the "new PT." All about perspective!

And yes...you folks got it right. What are your memories of the old PT at Minnetonka and Louisiana?

I would know it anywhere it is the original Park Tavern ! I remember it always was hopping & it smelled like onions because it had the best burger in town. Isn't it nice they stayed in Park & have been so successful? A true landmark & a BIG THANK YOU for contributing so much to our city !!!

Which corner of Louisiana and Mtka? Northwest Corner of that intersection?
Jackie Amundson September 29, 2012 at 03:51 PM
Matt, it was on the southwest corner of the intersection. It's now a parking lot.
