And the Park's Most Famous is...Al Franken

The Minnesota senator topped Ethan Coen in the championship of the "Ultimate St. Louis Park Bracket."

St. Louis Park has spoken: Al Franken is the most famous Parkite of all time.

The former "Saturday Night Live" funnyman and current Minnesota senator topped movie director Ethan Coen in the championship of our "Ultimate St. Louis Park Bracket," which was decided entirely by Patch readers.

Franken was born in New York in 1951, but his family moved to St. Louis Park before he started kindergarten. He attended Park schools through 10th grade (and famously featured his fourth grade teacher from Cedar Manor in one of his campaign commercials—see above), then headed to the Blake School, where he graduated in 1969. He later attended Harvard.
