Hello Bronx Park Neighborhood Families,
We are having a ice skating party! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, January 2nd from 6:00-8:00pm at Nelson Park's ice rinks located at 26th and Georgia Avenue. We will have a music system set up, popcorn and hot cocoa available for $.25.
Please leave your hockey pucks and sticks at home, we will be only ice skating. First time skaters, little children just wanting to explore the ice are welcome!
It's going to be a great time, hope you all can make it!!

More About Nelson Park
With a warming house bordering the parking lot and two lighted hockey rinks nearby, Nelson Park is a good place for a little winter fun. But there is plenty else to do at this park, which is near the Peter Hobart Elementary School, when ice and snow aren't on the ground. That's because Nelson features plenty of open space, a full basketball court and a playground. The park is also conveniently located on the North Cedar Lake Regional biking and walking trail, which runs from Hopkins to Minneapolis.
