This coming Sunday, Sept.16th, at 11:00 am our congregation will be learning how to engage in respectful conversation about the proposed MN Marriage Amendment. We are seeking to become a congregation that is not afraid to talk about "hot button" issues that effect the people we care about: our families, our friends, our neighbors, our children and our fellow citizens.
We cannot remain silent about an amendment to our state constitution that would limit the freedom to marry.
I am so proud that the folks in our congregation have the courage to listen carefully and speak faithfully from the heart of our values and beliefs. This is something I hope that the whole state of MN will do before the election in November.
If you are committed to having respectful conversations, please join us!
