Sporting a Fake Nose, Man Robs SLP Bank

The FBI is investigating Wednesday's incident, which occurred at the U.S. Bank branch inside Byerly's.

The U.S. Bank branch at in St. Louis Park was robbed Wednesday morning for the second time in four months.

And the robber—who wore a fake nose and facial makeup—could be a man suspected of several other area bank robberies in recent months.

Wednesday's incident occurred around 10 a.m. The robber approached the counter with a gun and demanded cash, then ran off with an undisclosed amount of money, the FBI reports.

The suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion, standing about 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing roughly 220 pounds. In addition to the makeup and the fake nose, he wore a black baseball cap, a dark jacket and a dark shirt. 

The FBI has recently been investigating a costumed man who has reportedly , including the same St. Louis Park U.S. Bank in April.

FBI spokesman Kyle Loven said the agency is "reviewing data in order to determine whether or not this individual is responsible for other robberies."
