Following a tough holiday trip to Duluth that brought the season's first two losses, the boys hockey team bounced back with a wild home win on Tuesday night.
The Orioles (7-2-1) knocked off Rogers, the 20th-ranked team in Class A, 6-5 in overtime, sending the crowd into a frenzy.
Park had to overcome a 4-2 deficit after two periods, but Tyler Brodersen and Alec Baer scored quickly in the third to tie the game. Rogers would score again, but Brodersen, the team's senior captain and leading scorer, put home another to send the game to overtime even at 5-5.

Baer then scored his second goal of the night late in the extra frame to end the game. (You can see game highlights via My FOX Hockey here.)
Brodersen led all scorers with three goals and a total of four points. Freshman Josh Passolt added one goal, and junior goalie Ryan Froom made 34 saves.

After the dramatic win, assistant coach John Passolt said the players and coaches voted to deliver a game puck to Jack Jablonski, the player who was paralyzed by a hit in a game last week.
Up next for Park is a game Saturday against BSM. The puck will drop at 7 p.m. at the Rec Center.
